Privacy Policy

PixTrace is a web product with user accounts. We store what we need to run analyses, credits and payments — we do not sell your photos.

1. Information We Collect

When you create a PixTrace account and use the product, we collect: • Account information (name, email, sign-in identifiers) • Images you submit for analysis • Analysis history tied to your account (filename, status, location summary, credits used, timestamps) • Payment records when you buy credits (amount, plan, payment status) We do not sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use this information to: • Authenticate you and keep your session secure • Run the image analysis you requested • Deduct or refund credits and show your history • Process payments and prevent fraud • Provide support when you contact us We do not use your photos to train public AI models.

3. Service providers

PixTrace uses third-party providers to operate the product: account authentication, image analysis, and payment processing. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We only share what is needed to complete your request.

4. Photos you submit

You choose which image to analyze. We do not scan your camera roll in the background. You can export or delete your account from Settings at any time.

5. Location Data

PixTrace infers location from the photo you upload. We do not track your live device location.

6. Data Retention

Account records (email, display name, credits, analysis summaries, purchase history) are stored until you delete your account. Image files are not kept as a permanent gallery. You can export your data as JSON from Settings, or delete the account there.

7. Children's Privacy

PixTrace is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact contact@pixtrace.io if you believe a child has created an account.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of PixTrace after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
